My first thread so yeah
Crawley away. Never been there
Leyton Orient away - it's been a few years
Brighton at home.
You want to be knocked out in the 2nd round to focus on the league, then?
I think we’ve got to aim first and foremost for beatable opposition in a competition we often struggle to go far in. But as we can’t play ourselves I suggest we just skip the League Cup this year.
Don’t care. Gomes will be selected for all rounds so it is a complete waste of time.
I dont give a ****. We can’t win a cup while Liverpool and city are as they are.
This team ain’t getting anywhere in the cups this year. No balls.
Our only mention in the press will be the tv coverage of how last seasons fa cup finalists went out, without fighting, to whatever league 1 or above team we meet first. Fair play to them. A further humiliation.
Why bothers. Whatever **** we usually get in the cup, away, Bradford, Millwall, Bristol, meh, whatever
Please not Luton because we will ******* lose
One of the Cambridge teams.
Trainer, magic sponge for Cthuls.
It’s like a theme park of Honecker’s East Germany.
Without the glamour.
Maybe I’m off, but answer me this, are you confident we would beat Luton if we played them next week ?
If we played our Championship level players, I would say yes.
What an experience knocking out the first team.
Oh Ok, erm... Plymouth A
Luton, obviously. It's the only fixture against lower league opposition anyone should ever want.
The build up would be brilliant, it would mean so much more than just another game in the Premier League.
Manchester City at Wembley.
Isn't one spanking enough for you then?
Too the fans, yes. The players we have won’t give a poopoo. I can’t imagine Quina, Success, Penaranda, Masina etc excited about the rivalry and know what it means to the fans. The only one up for it would be Deeney and he would get sent off after smashing some scum player, making us get knocked out.
Lootown. I'd love it. Just love it. The iron fist in the kid glove. We've missed you while you've been away. So have this kick in the b.llocks.
Coventry at home.
Suppose they might bring a few as their fans are boycotting the "home" games .
What an utterly dull unenthusiastic draw show.
I'd rather lose to coventry than have watch these three on the 3rd round draw.
Chance to play some kids that actually want to play for us
Bachmann / Dahlberg; Janmaat, Mariappa, Kabasele, Masina; Dele Bashiru, Quina, Chalobah; Penaranda, Cassidy, Sarr.
Please and thanks Javi.
Best kit of 2019 on display. 1986 Denmark throw back!
Literally do not see the point, there is nothing to gain although I do agree it probably will be Gomes.
However, 90 mins against a pretty decent side for someone as young as Dahlberg, is invaluable for his experience. He can learn and grow as much from that as he probably can from a months training sessions.
Great draw. At home against a rubbish team that we will smash 5-0. Play the kids and on to the next round.
Cov couldn’t beat the Bolton teenagers on Saturday.
Everything to lose.
Would be idiotic, but will probably happen.
Have you ever seen us play in the League Cup?
He's as good as Foster y'know ! Actually the gap is closing with Foster's recent form.
Yep, a repeat of when we destroyed gillingham at home the other year please. Fantastic night that.
