and so its began, with me unable to get away from work, to catch the coach leaving from st albans road around8 o clock:rant: :rant: :rant: so it s a mad dash accross london to paddington. so on i hop, the 8.55 from paddington to plymouth via tiverton. a great jounrey, even the coach got in early at plymouth :]] :]] at around 12.55 but what next, i made no plans for this, no hotel, no cash no nowt:rant: first locate a cash point, then a pub... but as i walked down the city centre, i saw the copthorne hotel on the right. so after the cash point i book in. but look whos booking in as well, god himself graham taylor, and a **** called foy. so a good choice of hotel then, very good company, clean and posh. by now its 1.45, and the coach lads, have turned up,my phone is ringing non stop, but im in no mad rush, missed the coach, and still beat them there..:]] ( the train take the strain ) first stop moons or the union rooms to the locals. not to many of the yelllow army around, but meet al and chris. all agree to crack on down to the the three crowns, where everyone else is. true enough a good mix of young and old, flags, here and there, young and old loons, and a few members of the yellow army. so many people i know, i dont know who to speak to first... south coast **** heads, lads form the one bell, lads from moons red lion, in the next few hors im a busy man. but good to meet you all. time is marching on, the old bill are, just keeping a lid on it, as plymouth finally turn up, and arent please to see us in their pub. so it s time to move on. feck its 5.30 already, no cabs left. a mad dash up to the station, cab and ground. i thought the atmos was damm good. the game was carp. but whos cares. went mad at the goal, went mad at half time.. lets go fecking mental, and went mad at the final whistle. great scenes, one to enjoy during this carp season. off down the penny come quick for a sherbert or two, but the city is quite, as the green army return back to planet earth. another great journey home, back in london by 1.40... gwr, gods wonderfull railway..its good to see london again. i was impressed by plymouth as a city, their fans and club..but home is home. so there we are semi regulars now.... bring it on:sign1: :sign1: :sign1:
Atmosphere before, during and after certainly seems to have been more entertaining than the game, shame the bbc didn’t show the Watford fans, because of their obsession with Plymouth fans.
