Just looked at the download section on the official site and it has got wallpapers up of this season, but when you click on it to download it you get last seasons picture. Can't they do anything right!
I checked this out like literally 2 days ago, its a joke. It's been like that for at least 6 months. I give up (its alright though cus darius appears more in last seasons pics they have )
I have a sneaking suspicion that after their big fuss a couple of months ago asking for feedback about the website and other club sites WFC have plans for a new website in the offing. A quick google search told me that the last PTV contract was signed in 2004 and was three years long, so will be due for renewal this summer. I've not read anything about that yet? It would very much be in line with WFC's new found love of all things technical to bring the website 'in house'. Would certainly enable the club to make a greater amount of advertising revenue, give them a greater say in the design and content and probably enable them to provide their own matchday commentary service. Anyway, the point of this ramble is simply to suggest they're abandoning certain elements for the time being...
on a slightly different note but relating to the site, they never officially came out and said what had happened with Hockaday! They said they would and never did, or did i miss it?
Interesting theory...i wonder whether that would include our own radio station for the net and abandon the 3 counties coverage (though obviously that would continue on fm. Would also fit in with Mark Ashtons forward thinking ideas, PTV tends to be mainly football league clubs
Because they haven't yet settled compensation the club have only made a very basic statement to avoid prejudicing any legal action that might ensue. I wouldn't expect anything any time soon on that one.
