Let’s get some realism going here. Unless financial reports are way off track, we do not have the dosh to even dream of paying the loan fees and wages for Mr. Doucoure, nor would he want to take a step back. The new recruitment team will have to be more imaginative than that, to earn their wages.
Hasn't it emerged that the reason Doucoure didn't get a move away from us earlier when he was in his pomp was because he turned out to be a crock? Or am I imagining that?
Short term? The one month loans that used to be possible were stopped by UEFA / FIFA many years ago, the minimum loan spell allowed is half a season unless you have a critical goalkeeping injury crisis.
