has signed a two year contract with the dons http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10420~1027946,00.html
Top news :]] Ben Gill and Dom Blizzard - that's two of the dead wood chums gone, only a few more to go. Jarrett is out of contract I believe so his days will also undoubtedly be numbered.
Could you copy-paste - I am not registered and don't really want to be. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=467746&CPID=12&clid=22&lid=6&title=Allen's+axe+falls+on+Dons+squad&channel=& It's mentioned here also. Good luck Dom.
The players have been informed, on Saturday morning and this morning, which ones will be staying and which ones will not be offered new deals. The list is as follows: The players not offered new contracts are Jamie Smith, Adolfo Baines, Lee Harper, Gary Smith, Nicky Rizzo, Ben Chorley and Ben Harding. Albert Jarrett and Adam Watts have returned to Watford and Fulham respectively. I have taken up the options on Dean Lewington and Kieran Murphy, I am discussing John Hastings' future with him and Gareth Edds has been offered a new deal. Dominic Blizzard has signed a two-year contract, Paul Mitchell has agreed a new one-year contract and I have informed Scott Taylor that he will be made available for a free transfer.
Two midfielders also - an area where we're well covered. Good luck to Dom - to think what he could have done had he not been hit by that virus.
I reckon the players leaving will be Chamberlain-become a coach Mackay-become a coach Powell Blizzard Kabba McNamee Osborne Foster Jarrett Gill McCoy-yth player
Mackay says he expects to play on, though I'll grant you that this source provides very little substance. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...objectid=19141422&siteid=66633-name_page.html
Gill is already gone to Cheltenham, Blizz to Dons. Macca still has one year left in his contract, so if no-one makes an offer I think we'll keep him till next summer. It's not like we have too many wingers in our squad ... As for Kabba... if no-one makes an offer for him I don't see us breaking his contract. The settlement would be huuuge, as his contract has two years left - and we did spend £500k on him. Malky probably wants to stay as a playing coach. The rest I totally agree on. Perhaps give McCoy a short professional contract to see if he developes.
All the best to Blizzard, i think he'll do a decent job at that level and he's been very unfortunate with illness/injury whilst he was with us.
In the Academy bit on Newcastle program says that McCoy has been released and it trying to get a contract at Bournemouth. Youth Goalkeeper James Beasant has been released aswell
Thanks for that info Could you please do a summary of the academy bit in the program as I wasnt at the game so I couldnt get the magazine Thanks
A sad day for Watford Football Club, we never have and seriously doubt we will ever have a player of such class in our squad again, are chances of premiership football are now minute.
Good luck to him, I don’t think he could have developed much further (due to all the other midfielders we have) with us, but I think he will do well for the Dons
This is Dom Blizzard we are talking about here isn't it? Is this officially the driest ever humour posted on this forum? :sign12:
