Don't watch this video. Seriously. Unless you want to see a guy suffer one of the WORST sporting injuries imaginable live on tv. Livingston is a workaday player for a workaday team here in LA. He is quite likely done forever as a pro player as a result. You really got to feel for the guy... Anyway, I know you are tempted. But don't do it. You won't be the same afterward. You've been warned... Don't watch this.
i saw it earlier today. not the worst injury ive seen but still pretty bad. and his career will not be over me thinks although he may suffer many months out.
Both are nasty Here is the kick boxing one, I'm warning yuo before you watch these, there are to of them :
It's not out of the question that he can come back, after all some have done it (Willis McGahee/Buffalo Bills Running Back and a good irish boy-NOT) did it, but he's pretty unusual. However, it's likely he is done for good, unfortunately. His whole career is/was ahead of him.
That's pretty sad...he's a great driver... I once saw a baseball player running to get a fly ball...as he got to the warning track which tells him the wall is coming as his head is turned to watch the ball, he got a bit of a late start jumping off the wall to catch the ball to prevent the home run. The sole of his foot hit the wall and his achilles snapped so his toes touched his shin and he collided straight into the wall. He did not catch the ball, but that was the least of his concerns at the time. Ouch!
Zanardi has started racing again with artficial legs, like you said, it is a shame as he was a great driver
You know.. I've been trying to think of a witty comeback for two days now... and I just can't think of one...:dismay:
