David Nugent - We Are Not Linked

I just wanted to say that before Vital Football comes out with a story:]]

Did anyone else think that he looked pretty average in the U21 Championship? I thought Milner, Ash and Lita looked way better.

 

For me Nugent isnt very prolific as he scored just 17 goals in 46 games and thats in the championship so I could imagine he will either do very well in the prem or wll be a huge flop.

 

Way behind Lita in the England striker department.

 

His goalscoring record hardly suggests he's worth 7-8 million.

 

Exactly. But how can mere mortals like us argue with endless lazy journalism written by people who've probably seen him once a year for the last three years in FA Cup matches and hype produced by his own club?

 

Im not the only who finds it weird vital watford seem all of a sudden have a range of "sources" close to every player we are linked with

 

I agree with all the sentiments expressed thus far regarding Nugent.

 

I've never really seen him as a premiership player. Hopefully Sunderland will crash and burn with him on board
