I think it just emphasises our level as a club now. Gosling was no good in midfield last season. The game was too quick for him and passed him by, but he's still a lot better than Livermore. This is probably why it took so long before announcing Livermore as Gosling only gave his decision last week, so the timing fits this. I think Livermore is the replacement for Gosling.

Perhaps he's been offered a way home to Plymouth

If so we might get to see him run rings round Livermore in our second game.

I hope that means he feels he could get more gametime somewhere else (like Plymouth Argyle?)

Released. Not the most popular player, and it was definitely his time to go, but he gave his all wherever and whenever needed, good luck to him

I don’t think we did want to keep him. I understood we had a look at him this summer and Ismael decided he wouldn’t be part of our plans.

Regardless, it’s good to see he’s recovered from that horrible injury at Bristol City and good luck for the future. Maybe a happier trip back to the West Country awaits, by signing for a club down there.

Was a useful signing in our promotion season and unexpectedly a useful right-back at times last season, and came across well in that interesting interview he gave to the WO.

Not quite what we needed but we will always have Norwich away!

Probably the fact we’ve let him go now and not earlier
