I remember standing in the front row behind the goal at Ipswich in the 1960s with my neck at pitch level. Great view of players' boots, but they were all black and with no branding. I suppose that boot afficionados nowadays flock to the LGT for a much more rewarding experience
Queueing system seems a bit random. I had two devices running with the wheel of despair shrinking slowly for about an hour. Both seemed stuck on about an 8th left. Went to the website on my phone and was in within about 10 minutes. Payment process worked fine for me. Anyone still going through the process....I feel your pain. Good luck!
The bit the club have total control over seems to be working efficiently though. Tickets ordered online 10am Wednesday. Dropped on the doormat at home this morning. Top work.
I wish the club would take ticketing back in house, the Ticket Master Mob are wrongly named IMO as they have NOTHING MASTERFUL about them in any way
******* disgrace get into confirmation after choosing 70 pound seats. Site crashes and cant get in until 2 hours later where all the 70 and 45 tickets (in a group) are gone. Not sure I can justify paying 115 for a game of football regardless of the occasion.
I reckon about 1,200 left, mainly in the top half of the top tier £115 bracket from blocks 548-551. Ouch.
I bought mine Tuesday AM and they arrived yesterday morning. Quite fantastic really. Although I'm not sure you can completely exonerate the club because their tickets services are contracted out. At the end of the day, they are the ones that chose Ticketmaster. In my eyes, the buck still stops with them.
Oh yeah, I absolutely agree with that. But I figure they couldn't just ditch Ticketmaster after the semi and in time for the final so have done the limited amount of things they could do pretty well. Would have been easy for them to just repeat the semi final process and leave it until the summer for a proper post mortem.
Can you just not get in? I have once again risked incurring RTC's wrath and logged in. Not even a queue or wheel of doom. Maybe try a different device or put a browser into incognito/private mode and try again?
This is a ******* joke. I can hardly ******* afford this **** as it is. Thank you Watford FC, Ticketmaster and Wembley for pricing me out of the only chance ill get to watch my team at Wembley NO matter what ticket i try to buy i just get "There are restrictions in family Blocks on the number of adults/seniors to children ratio. No more than 3 adults per child OR 3 children per adult are permitted. Please review your selection before progressing." or it just tells me to try again and refresh the page. **** it, ill save my money rather than watch us lose 4-0
No its my fan ID. My mates are the ones who usually get my tickets. So the ID was never used under my name. Still hoping.
In the 60s there were no fences so I don't believe anywhere was as bad as the away 'hole' at The Dell in the 80s. Honourable mention for Upton Park where from the away terrace you couldn't see the near goal line.
You, sir, appear to be sitting in MY SEAT. Or at least nearby. Please come and say hello on the day. I like meeting new people. Lizard disapproves of my attitude so I don't tend to tell him
You can't buy from blocks 128, 129, 139, 140, 538, 539, 540, 541. These are the family blocks, you should be able to pick from the others though.
Can someone please buy the Hungarian fella and the Fishy guy a 70 quid ticket before they both have an aneurysm? Thank you.
I just don't understand how they've set up the system to allocate seats to people ineligible to sit in them. It surely can't take that much effort to program the system to deal with that.
I was in 545 row 8 for the semi and I thought it was pretty good.. I’m not gonna lie, it is high but you do have a great overview of play. I prefer that to being too low and losing the flight of the ball etc cos your view is too ‘flat’.
I watched a West Ham v Don Revie Leeds team at Easter one year. I was quite young and was squashed all match and all 4 goals (2-2) were scored at the home end and because the steps there were so small, I never saw the goal line at all and only saw the net bulge!
Buddy of mine thought he was Cat C for final tickets as he bought 2 home match tickets on his ID a year or so ago, but because the 2 tickets were for the same match he was put as Cat D! I just read the rules and it says so long as you have 2 ticket purchases, you're Cat C, right? Or does it say you had to have tickets for 2 separate matches? What a sickener, he had a season ticket all throughout the **** years of the 90s too. OOOOF!!
