Not me; this is my incredulous reply to Relegation Certs - he's the one dishing out the gongs to the enigmatic one.

I wasn't in your block, but the guy behind me was having an emotional breakdown for the whole game. To the point that his kids were laughing at him and everyone around me was smirking awkwardly.

His outbursts of rage and despair when Jurado did anything were frightening.

I really think that next Saturday will have a big bearing on whether we have the same head coach/Manager call him what you will next season, a game he has to win surely

Indeed, if we lose against Villa at home, I think the Watford forums will go into catastrophic meltdown.

Oh and does anyone agree with me that the seating plan at Wembley is a bit ****ed-up?

I was in the upper tier just to the right of the Palace fans where the seat numbers weirdly go from 390 back down to 1, with my ticket confusingly showing both block 501 and 552 (and 501 was actually printed on the receipt, despite being for a Palace block!). I had to ask four stewards where the hell my seat was and none of them really seemed to have a clue (or didn't give clear enough instructions - when one said I'd have to go all the way round to sit with the Palace fans, my heart was at rock bottom for a few minutes). As a result, I only just got to my seat in time for kick-off.

Oh, and now I've learnt my lesson I would strongly advise that unless you're guaranteed a seat right at the front that for our next trip to Wembley (whenever that is) avoid getting one in the upper tier at all costs. I went for one because I fancied a good view around the stadium, but even just over ten rows back the drop down to and view of the pitch is horrible and not recommended for those with any fear of heights. All this pretty much set the tone for a miserable afternoon all round (of course, I wouldn't have cared a jolt if we'd had another scrappy win a la West Brom!).

I'd be concerned if it didn't after losing to Villa.

Hopefully we can park the bus against Villa and perhaps with a couple of world class saves from Gomes get a 0-0 draw

Very odd thing for him to chant. Was he the one in the turquoise top?

It's not contradictory to want your attacking players, when approaching the final third of the pitch in a game where you've been losing for 80 minutes, to try something positive. For someone to put their head down and try and run past the defender, take on a shot, try and slip a pass into the box or get wide and whip in a cross. Instead, people are frustrated with the constant process of getting to the final third and then turning, coming inside and then looking backwards.

This is not contradictory with not wanting your goalkeeper to aimlessly hoof the ball up field, especially when often it was directed at the other side of the pitch from where Ighalo and Deeney were lining up.

    Agreed.

it's not quite as bad as the 02.I know people who have walked out because they were so unsteady at looking right down at the court, but did make you feel quite unwell.

  13. My point is that he did mix it up in The Cup, and we did get our best win since Christmas with probably the team furthest from what he has been naturally selecting (albeit not that different in personnel, though they brought greater dynamism to the team). When he reverted to type for the semi, we got pretty much the usual fair we have come to expect from his league campaign.

That makes it fair to speculate that mixing it up a bit more in matches he thought were important may have brought us better results. That is not being an armchair manager, that is being a fan making a fair observation based on what they've seen.

The way we set up and play in these last four games will be interesting, particularly at home. Quique once again played a cautious starting line up again yesterday and immediately handed the advantage to Palace. If he brought Gueds on to make us more positive, why didn't he start him. We knew Palace would play with pace and intensity, yet our one midfielder with both qualities, Behrami, didn't get on at all. Once again we looked for the pass inside, or back more often than not.

One of the noticeable and consistent reasons for this is a complete lack of movement by Iggy....he never runs the channels even when, like yesterday and regularly this season, there is acres of space either side of the two CH's....every team who plays us now know this and they wait for the inevitable long ball or flick from Troy towards Ighalo and just double up on him. Why can't Flores coach this out of him??? A bit of movement from him would make a massive difference and if we can see it, Flores should too. Against two CH lumps like Palace have, he would have caused them more discomfort by doing something other than just standing waiting beween them. I know Vardy is an extreme case, but just watch how few times he takes up a central position, giving CH's no one to mark or if they try to, they are pulled out of the middle.

Just take a look at how Success plays for Grenada.....he is the exact opposite and very hard to keep out of the game, just what we need and hopefully will get.

I thought Palace were excellent all over the pitch and as I've said before, pace is the number one priority at this level, providing it is allied with technical ability and hard work.....Palace had all these qualities in spades and I would have been very excited to be a CPFC fan every time they got possession in midfield, knowing they could set Zaha, Puncheon and particularly Bolasie free.

Flores missed a great chance to set up differently to how Pardew expected us to play and had set up for and again at half time....Capouie's injury though probably robbed us of the chance to see Berghuis, but we were same old, same as throughout. Add poor performances from Abdi (consistently outmuscled), Ake (preoccupied with Zaha and clearly told not to overlap, plus awful challenge on Wickham to let him get a free header)

I thought Suarez showed for the ball well, did his best and I wonder if he has an extra yard of pace after pre season....if he hasn't, he is not quite good enough at this level, but we'll see. Jurado worked really hard and doesn't deserve the criticism he had for yesterday's showing. Again Flores persisted with playing him out of position and he ain't no winger. Gueds made an impact when he came on, though he really should have done better with that shooting chance near the end....

As far as this season goes, happy that we've kept our status, happy to at least have got to the semi and happy that Flores has done a lot with an average squad noticeably short of pace and attacking options. A key point is who is to blame for that lack of options.....whose decision was it to sign, Oulare, Ibarbo, Diamante, Amrabat and to a lesser degree Berghuis (cos I think he has something) and at the same time get rid of Vydra and Fessy.....if it was all down to Flores, then he has a lot to answer for.....if it was down to the Senior management and scouting team, then Flores has had to make do with, as he put it, less tools. Yesterday Palace had Bolasie, Wickham, Zaha, Puncheon, Sako, Gayle and Adebayor to choose from as forward options.....says it all really.

The things that QSF can be blamed for are primarily his tactical inflexibility and risk taking when we need to chase a game. and constantly playing people out of their best position when they are constantly less effective there...and how the Pozzos view that, if the signings above aren't Flores' fault, may well decide if he stays or goes.

I hope we start with Gueds and Berghuis on Saturday, with Jakubiak on the bench.....

Troy was magnificent yet again.....if we ally him next year with fleet footed players in front of him, or an Ighalo who moves, it could be great to watch

Just want to say I met and drank with several Watford fans yesterday and they were all top people. Obviously a more enjoyable day for me but your fans and support of your club was excellent. Look forward to locking horns again next season.

Why is it then that this season, the team with the most possession is usually the losing side?

Oi! That's not very nice of you. It's not his fault that his team coasted to an easy victory over a side managed by a sauvey Spaniard whose only chance of ever being positive is in an HIV test after bumming young African trialists.

Can't remember but it was around row 21 of block 134 and he was shouting it in the style of a chant. It was quite amusing in a "Oh dear he's totally lost the plot" kind of way.

Definitely not,due to the fact I hate the manc bastards and wouldn't dream of going on there forums. I've posted on here for a few years now. It's always been enjoyable talking to like minded fans of a similar sized club. Your bitter reply will not change my mind and I won't drag myself down to your level. I am wondering though, are you a closet Millwall fan?
