If Leeds go down i will jump for joy and it would really brighten up the 06/07 season. Would mean we wouldn't have to go to ******* Rd.

I'd rather Southend and Hull went down with them as going to QPR and the Scum is always enjoyable. 3pts n all that ;D

What a mess though if they did. That said, it didnt do Man City too much harm to spend a couple of years in the wilderness. Got a brand spanking new stadium and everything!!!!!!

Sorry one more thing.... Leeds Luton and QPhaha for the drop just to see that fat smug canut Cook walk away from his "beloved" home town club whilst they're in the *****.

It may sound a bit negative, but I still think if we hadn’t one the play-offs it could have been us, where Leeds are. I honestly believe we’d have probably lost our best performing players for peanuts (Ash and Marlon) and been unable to get good re-enforcements. That’s why I’m glad, no matter how badly we do for the rest of the season that we are currently in the Premiership

Leeds, Luton and QPR to go down is just too good to be true!

I don't know, I still think they could get out of it, don't forget they were playing at a side at the top of the Championship and they nearly sneaked a draw. There's a kind of aura about the bigger clubs that makes them somehow survive these kind of crises no matter how bad things get (clubs like Chelsea, Leicester and Newcastle at different points have come close to dropping into the third tier on one or two occasions and somehow pulled through, and like them Leeds have never played below the top two divisions). They have fanatical and passionate supporters with an ambitious chairman who will pull out all the stops to stop them dropping into League One, although obviously it's ultimately down to the players on the pitch once they cross the white line.

Their run-in doesn't look too bad, most of their home games look winnable and many of the teams they're playing won't have much to play for. Their crunch games next month against Luton (h) and Southend (a) will be key though.

I think it would be a shame if they went down, one of England's bigger clubs still in my eyes and is always a good day out.

Mind you, it would mean Dennis Wise would be relegated and maybe lose his job, so I'm 50/50.

i am not with you there Pedanto! The way them...and the media...thought that they had some heavenly right to be in the Premiership during all of last season including the Playoffs gives me no sympathy!

Its thier bed, let them lie in it!

I think they are as good as gone TBH.So much has happened at leeds over the last few seasons, and Risdale has alot to answer for with the former directors.

They tied up contracts and were and still are paying massive wages to players that are not even at the club. Its pure madness, and I can see the same sort of thing happening at west-ham if they are not carefull.

Im lead to believe they are still paying 30k a week to one player until the end of the season who isnt there.

Leeds are a massive club fanbase wise, but uncle Ken is still charging prem admission prices,so the leeds supporters have voted with their feet. Some parts of the ground are still charging £40-00 a game.

The people at the club now are not to blame for their past troubles, and it was not along ago we were in a similar position. The CCC need clubs like Leeds as it will always add to the gates and bring in revenue because they do have fantastic away support and a good following.

I thought Leeds fans were a credit to the club at cardiff and all I saw congratulated us on a well deserved win.It was only the minority that stayed in cardiff that were looking for trouble, and that was with the cardiff locals.

I personally think its a sad state of affairs to see Leeds relegated.

i think leeds will go down look at forest everyone siad they were too good to go down and were too big a club now their playing in the 3rd tier.

not sure i do like visiting elland road-the home of the marriapa chant!

but as for luton and qpr going down i would be quite gutted because those two games are some of the highlights of next season,a possible 12 points and theres nothing like beating the scum

Arrogance, conceit, dirty Leeds supporters, Dennis Wise, Ken Bates are just some of the reasons that I would like to see them go down.

I will get sl*gged off for saying this but I probably dislike them more than the sc*m.

However, they have a fairly kind run into the end of the season and they will probably just do enough - on the other hand sc*m may find it hard:]]

As long as Sc*m go down I'm happy. Leeds are an arrogant bunch of pr1cks but they are a big club historically and with a decent manager they could be a force in the CCC. For that reason I want them to go down as I think the other candidates for the drop will be easier 3 points gained for us.

I d rather Luton sink without trace over Leeds.

Would love to see Luton battling on the bring of relegation from League 2... their stadium just about deserves to be in the conference.

Leeds will dig themselves out of it!

Just one other thing, if we hadnt won the play offs I feel we could have struggled just ike leeds this year.

    How so?

We certainly wouldn't have been bottom, lower midtable at worst.

Marlon King would have proberly gone,Young as well and certainly not for 9million,and because we didnt have the prem money we would have been on a very tight budget again.I think we would have struggled and defeat in cardiff may of had an effect like it has done with leeds, but then again we would never know.

You can't really compare us to Leeds though.

Leeds still have a massive debt to pay off, paying wages to players who have long since left the club, are saddled with underperforming players who only seem to be there for the money and the glory of being at a "massive" club, and have already had three managers this season, hardly a recipe for stability and a settled team. Whereas the difference with us is that even without the £30 million for promotion we would have been in a much healthier financial position, Aidy is a better manager than Kevin Blackwell, John Carver and Dennis Wise combined, and under him with one or two exceptions our players fight for every ball, are happy to be at the club, for the sake of the team and not just for the money. For those reasons alone I don't see how we would have been anywhere near the position Leeds are in.

Don't forget also that Leeds have been on the slide since last March when they looked like they could catch Sheff Utd, so the defeat at Cardiff would have had an added knock-on effect on their confidence.

If we had lost the playoff final, I doubt we would have done a Leeds. We wouldn't have romped the Championship that is for sure. Probably mid-table again.

it does seem very weird. i remember in september looking at the table thinking that sure they were in trouble but that i was sure they would get out of it but they haven't. they actually appointed wise without interview which is apprently against regualtions now and could be done for this(has to be done like proper business, via HR), they have signed loads on loan paying huge wages, have not got a proper keeper, their fans have desserted them and they are still at the bottom:]] even the lad from wealdstone who almost signed for us has left (all be it on loan) and is spanking in some great goals for Scunthorpe.

I was hoping that they would struglge but this is great as Luton could go down, QPR are virtually down and Palarse are struggling and in debt now as lost the parachute payments
