Absolutely. Why? Has something been missed? Usually when a thread is closed it will slowly pass away down it's particular forum never to be seen again, that's usually enough. Since the Clark Carlisle thread only the one about the Man City latecomer has been closed due to the awful "message board" type posts it was receiving. Why do I feel a whoosh coming?
I read something in a closed thread that was wrong and went back to edit the incorrect word and there was no edit option, I assumed this was lost when it was closed.
I'm assuming the same. I got in about 10 minutes ago and just saw the latest closed thread, apologies. Whilst I totally agree with the moderators for closing it before it turned nasty, I'm happy to re-open it if you wish to make an edit. Let me know.
No it wouldn't be fair to just open it for me to edit, if when a thread is closed you loose the ability then so be it. i thought it had already turned nasty with the personal digs yet again, what I find annoying is when you go to post a reply to those childish comments the thread has become closed and you have just wasted your time and in the end the idiots got what they wanted by having their "friends" close it.
It takes 2 to tango, both sides should have backed off 20 posts before it was closed. The argument will not continue in this thread. Goodnight.
oh we'll thats me totally confused , i thought it was a healthy discussion that was helping them to clean the air so to speak.
i thought it was a healthy discussion, no malice, no stupid comments etc, then two people decide to launch a personal attack re the old fiscal site and the thread is closed by one of the gang without alloying time for a full right of reply Ho hum. If you face don't fit an all that.
