Good news for the lad. Well done on a new contract, and hopefully he can impress at Boreham Wood.

I think this move is far better for Chez than staying here. Now that we have good squad depth, youngsters like Isaac can go out at play every weekend, rather than 20/30 minutes with us. Good luck to the lad!

Sensible news. He is highly rated from what I am told; going out and getting kicked as well as learning to kick people will do him the world of good.

"WATFORD midfielder Chez Isaac has today (Thursday) signed a new contract with the Hornets and also joined local non-league side Boreham Wood on loan.

The 18-year-old will link up with the Blue Square Bet South side until January, while he's extended his contract at Vicarage Road until the end of the season.

The tenacious midfielder is a product of the club's Academy after first joining at the age of 13.

He was twice named on the bench for the first-team last season and mpressed the coaching staff enough to be handed a six-month pro deal over the summer.

That has now been extended and he'll want to get some vital first-team experience at Boreham Wood over the next months.

Like fellow Academy graduate Jonathan Bond, Isaac will continue training with the Hornet during the week and will link up with his new team-mates for matches."

    Done.

  9. Thought he looked excellent against Chelsea. Absolutely everywhere, and as said above, Eustace clone. Which is a VERY. GOOD. THING.
