Don't know if anyones picked up on this but Ladbrokes have laid some v big bets on us today, as a result we have come in from 9-1 on Friday to 8-1 this morning and 6-1 tonight. I'm sure it can't all be my pocket money, I was told someone has placed £5000 at 8-1. Serious dough time to believe folks!!!!! WE ARE GOING UP AS CHAMPIONS.
Not much value all round. Interesting though that the bookies - neutral observers with some expertise - see us as joint favourites given the weeping and wailing on this site about the unwillingness of the club to pee cash up the wall for any old player. On the pitch, at least, the club is in a pretty good state.
It's only been one game. Last time we were relegated to the Championship we were unbeaten until Christmas and then failed to win at all in the second half of the season. And then we got V****i.
