Good to see Captain Picard's beamed down for Huddersfield's big day at Wembley

Glad Huddersfield won. One team that i'm seeing wont survive in the top flight.

At least Hogg won't be able to play against us.

  5. Pleased for Hogg, but haven't seen anything in any of the 4 playoff sides to say they have a snowball in hell chance of surviving prem

Considering Reading were 3-1 up in the shoot out, to lose 4-3 before sudden death must be hard to take.

Can't say I'm gutted like after Swansea in 2011 (was it?!); sort of didn't expect it this season. Jaap Stam said he had a three year plan and we almost arrived (too) soon.

We'll be there sooner or later again ...

Proper agricultural football by both sides there. Udders need major surgery to survive at this level. Pleased for them though. The more teams other than Luton in the 92 who can share the PL wealth the better.

That's how I felt walking out of Wembley when Palace beat us. We'd had our final against Leicester a week or so beforehand, thought there's no way we'd get that lucky again. A year goes so quickly that I expect you'll be thereabouts again next season.

Name the three ex Watford players that have appeared at Wembley the last two days, (although only two of them made appearances for us)

Tbh the only reason i could bring myself to watch the start of their 2nd leg semi at L*t*n was to see if they could recall that history of Aldred but then i thought why am i watching them and turned it off

A new unfashionable team into the league..

Those sleeping giants must hate it!

Another overseas manager comes in and takes a team up..

Heads in hands from the FA and LMA.

I remember when Huddersfield Town were last in the top division, Blackpool were also in it at the time, they both seemed to fall down the leagues together and have both been promoted this weekend (I appreciate Blackpool were also in it more recently)

Yes for every Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Brighton and Watford in the P.L. There is a Notts Forest, Leeds, Aston Villa Blackburn etc etc in the lower divisions! (All previous league champions)

Congratulations to the Terriers - fantastic achievement

I'm not going to tar them with the relegation fodder brush, all of that pisses us off as fans of a smaller club, and Burnley survived against the odds

There was only one team trying to win that final

Well played Huddersfield. Promoted with a minus goal difference, then failed to win amy of their play off matches (not scoring in two of them while the goal they got in the other was an own goal)

Very little quality shown by either side on the day, but at least Huddersfield looked like they wanted to try & win it. For that reason alone they deserved to win.
