Bilic is different class. No way we win 3 out of 4 under Edwards with the injury crisis we have. Sacking Edwards and appointing Bilic was a masterstroke, to make up for the brain fart decision over management in the summer.

4 more games before the World Cup and I expect us to win all of them. There are still moments when we're not good. Certain individuals are not up to it, but overall, there's been a vast improvement in attitude, and that's carry us through. That's all down to Bilic.

Didn't watch the game, but surely even if Gosling had a good game, Choudhury can come in ahead of Kayembe (and I'm certainly not one of Kayembe's biggest detractors)

Yeah, it was 10 shown on the board by the 4th official (apparently) but the two goals and a couple of injuries and a yellow card in injury time meant the game ended in the 103rd minute.

It's a very clever tactic masterminded by the BedWetters. Now that Gino has ensured we're absolutely ace again and we're winning all the time, the BW Ultras have resorted to flooding threads/shoutboxes with airfryer/movie distraction. This is an attempt to avoid discussing how brilliant we are, and to avoid a COG uprising.

A very smart play, and it will be interesting to see how the COGs respond.

Hey, no spoilers! We’ve not got to the bit of the season where Gino reappoints Rob yet.

Good for you. Pretending that the poisonous culture within our football club is due to fans is clearly idiotic mind you, but enjoy your sessions smashing your head in the sand.

Think it would be very harsh to drop Kayembe, he's having a very good run of form and put in another impressive performance tonight.

I think you'll find the discussion began when we started crap and conceded an early goal so was a nice way to pass the time until things improved.

Bilic has done well it can’t be denied. To be honest as much as I liked Edwards, Bilic is probably the best possible manager you can have at champ level, apart from Silva/Benitez freak occurrences.

I've mentioned this before, but loads on here were extremely blase about Manaj getting injured, when having a forward like him to come off the bench and hold the ball up a bit more with his back to goal while also harassing their CBs would have been handy.

I'm much happier when the team is sh!te and I can complain. Going up this season doesn't appeal to me at all and will ensure that the financial mess and lies are all swept under the carpet by the Pozzo ar$elickers. It probably would save us from financial oblivion for a couple of seasons though, so that's one positive I guess.

Manaj is dreadful. If he were in the toilet bowl I doubt many would even bother flushing him.

    Agreed.

Gosling did better than expected today, but I think it'd be preferable to have him at RB or legs off the bench, while keeping Kayembe where he is.

In all seriousness I don’t think many of us are giving Bilic the credit he deserves for a) putting up with possibly the worst bosses one could ask for and b) getting 3 wins on the bounce from a totally uninterested, disjointed squad who are additionally ravaged by injuries

Great to win 3 on the spin, thought we were destined for league 1 after Millwall due to the severe lack of application from the players. Luton seems to have reignited the flame of eternal hope again.

As much as this is the case, there's still been plenty of quality throughout the teams he's put out and we're now getting closer to the types of results which should be expected from them. It wasn't for no reason that we were the bookies' favourites at the start of the season.

It just makes all the excuses given for Edwards that he didn't have a specialist RWB all the more over-the-top given that I think he typically had even more of a complete squad overall to pick from than Bilic has had.

Let's not do this 'If you don't cheer them on 100% of the time, then you aren't a good/real fan' nonsense.

There's been plenty happening around the club in the last few years that means some fans noses are out of joint. Some fans noses have squared up quickly whilst others haven't. That's a pretty normal dynamic really in those circumstances. When individual players are playing badly or making the same mistakes time and again, how else would you like it expressed?

The reality is that this is an anonymous forum. People can and will say what they want (within the rules). If its endless getting behind the team people want, that's what you get from going to every game etc etc and never questioning the deeper mechanisms of the club too deeply. This forum has a rich mix of all supporters and long may that continue.

The shoutbox is at its best when players are being slagged off, and then they immediately score/assist. Never gets old.

Firstly, I've clearly not been banned "of late" - I've been posting a fair bit in recent weeks.

Secondly, I've pointed out to the mods that there are some members on here who are routinely more rude and personally insulting to other forum members than I have ever been, including for the blown out of proportion excuse for my ban. These members are also generally ones who make the shoutbox so toxic, hence why I avoid it.

Has the derby win genuinely kick-started our season? We do seem to be doing better at grinding out wins now, although I do suspect Millwall is and will be an outlier in terms of performances this season, and the same old weaknesses we showed there remain, just not punished to the full against Wigan and Cardiff
