Seems to be an 18 year-old Colombian striker.
Physically he looks a cross between Aguero and Tevez. Or a younger Acuna.
Hopefully his ability is closer to the former two than the latter.

Will never play for us blah blah blah.

Having said that he scored 20 goals in the Colombian 2nd Division as a 16/17 year old, then moved to a top division club and scored 4 in 8 starts. He also scored twice as a 17 year old for the Colombian u20s in the South American Championship earlier this year. I hope the various lower league clubs in Spain and Italy that he'll be loaned out to in the next few years enjoy his talents.

Also, interestingly enough his full name is Juan Camilo Hernandez.

So either Juan Camilo was not enough, or surest sign yet that Zuniga is being sold...

I had a look too, certainly looks a talent.

Gino must agree, given he's flying this one about as far under the radar as it's possible to go.

Is this the young striker we signed last year?

    Good stats .

I wonder if we could field an alternate reality team full of all the players that don't exist until we see them , and then they do exist .

"A player only exists when witnessed by an independent observer ."

We could call this team Heisenberg Utd.

Nothing like a bit of particle physics based humour to brighten up a Sunday morn eh boys .

The scientists at CERN are using the large hydron collider to prove that he exists. If they discover this 'God player' it will re-write the laws of football.

The segunda division is no mickey mouse league. If he performs well this season, he will have a shot in the La liga on loan. 2 years in Spain and he'll have his Spanish passport and be able to come to back to Watford and play.

With his goalscoring in Columbia, I think this is one to be excited about.

He'll never play for us and end up at a lower/mid-table Spanish team for the bulk of his career.

I was half listening to the whole thing (might go back later and re-listen) but:

He was going to quit football at age 15 to chase a more realistic job for his family but entered the Colombian equivalent of a local county tournament where a scout for Colombian second division side Deportivo Pereira spotted him and demanded he be signed by the end of the day. The scout got his wish and he was signed, within a year (aged just 16) he'd made his first team debut and by 17 had captained the team. He's a fan favourite wherever he goes (Deportivo Pereira have one of the largest fanbases in the 2nd division) and is capable of playing anywhere just behind the striker, often utilised as a second striker, with a good goal to game ratio. Granada then signed him and loaned him to a bigger team in Colombia (America Cali) where the fans loved him but he got little game-time, but he impressed whenever he came on. They discussed his chances of getting a work permit (slim at present), but he did well at a youth tournament with Colombia and is likely highly rated within the international setup.
