We (my disabled son and I) were lent someone's tickets to see the Chelsea match. My son really enjoyed it but the noise and being enclosed in the seat was a bit too much for him. I'm going to contact the club to see if we can get into the sensory room for a match and I was wondering whether I could/should mention that he has seen a match on someone else's ticket - is it entirely kosher?
Contact Dave Messenger..... davemessenger@watfordfc.com he is the supporter liaison officer and very responsive at dealing with requests! I don't suggest you tell him you borrowed someone's else's tickets as that's unnecessary! Best of luck and I hope your son manages to see a game in the Sensory room, Dave may also be able to suggest a different part of the ground for you which isn't so noisy!
I would have thought it would be good enough to tell them that you attended the match. Why would you need to tell them that you used someone else's ticket. was writing as Teide posted so a bit irrelevant now.
I have a lot of experience of disability through my career and also as I have a niece with profound learning disabilities. I was very proud when we opened the sensory room. Hope it’s a good experience.
Yes - just say he found the experience of a match a bit overwhelming. Hope the club help and he has a great experience.
