According to Sky, he is going to train at Arsenal in an attempt to get his fittness back up!!!! He's now a free agent, so maybe we should invite him over the fence to our place, and sign him up on an initial pay as you play deal, or something like that!!!! Then if he works out, make it more permanent. He could potentially be an excellent signing 8)
Good god no. Too old, not good enough in my view. I would prefer younger, hungrier players that don't want 20K a week.
I seem to remember Parlour was linked to us last time we got into the Premiership, somehow I doubt he's improved since then!
A signing till the end of the season only! Considering this time last month we did'nt think that we'd have an extra 8mil in the bank spending a small portion on the wages of an experienced Prem campaigner would seem a reasonable punt... Past it at 33, no way! Were the same age and I'll have you know I'm just hitting my prime...
I know he is not fit..... But the window closes soon, that is why I suggested a pay as you play deal, just to get him on the books. I think it is worth a punt both for us and for him. He needs to get fit, so he can do that by training with us just as easily as with Arsenal, and he costs us nothing unless he plays. Seems like a potential match made in heaven, should he regain anything like his old form.
is she the one that gets half his wages? if she is, she could do with spending a few thousand on tidying herself up a bit! why not give him a 2 week trial offer? if he can train for a few weeks and show that he can get fit, sign him til end of the season
The latest.... Watford to deal in Parlour tribalfooball.com - January 26, 2007 Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd is set to offer terms to released Middlesbrough midfielder Ray Parlour. Boothroyd wants to give the 33-year-old a deal until the end of the season as the Hornets battle relegation.
