Billy Sharp of Scunny ??

This lad has to be worth a punt. If they are talking 3.5 Million for Freddy "Pikey" Eastwood then Sharpy has to be worth a go.

It would also be nice to put one over on Warnock who let the lad go from Sheffield Utd. (Always thought that old Warnock loved his strikers but I suppose with 35 on the books Sharpy had to go).

15 goals this season and give the lada chance in the Premiership... Remember Mo Johnston, Paul Furlong, H Helgusson.

Nothing to lose on this one Aidy.

 

His record is not far off a goal every other game.

 

I'd rather see Earnshaw, 12 league goals so far this season and he's scored goals in the prem already. Less of a gamble than Sharp.

I'm not so sure that he would to be honest scalexman, Norwich aren't exactly loaded and i doubt they'd be demanding silly money whilst his wages won't exactly be astronomical and probably just within our budget i reckon.

 

Earnshaw is quality but he'd be a bit too expensive.

I'd give Billy a seroius looking at I know he's lower league but his goals to games ratio is impressive.

But they also reckoned Mahon would be the key player vs Reading!

 

I would get him, he knows where the goal is atleast.

With some of the chance we have had where hendo hasn't scored due to lack of confidence, i'm sure Billy would put a few away.
