http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11686_4756127,00.html IMO a loan spell away could do him the world of good
I would be very happy to see him go out on loan for a while.. Regular football could help him develop.
I think if he goes out on loan it will be with a view to make the move permanant at the end of the season.
gota agree with the others who have posted above. do him good and free up some much needed cash to pay someone else`s wages
The thing is, I doubt his wages would actually be that high. We should release someone like Mart Poom to lower the wages.
Agreed, a loan deal would be good. Three high flying clubs in for him aswell. Not tin-pot teams from League Two.
You think there would be many takers for a goalie who's injured for the rest of the season then!!:xmashuh:
A player who's had 62 1st team matches in CCC and PrL at the age 20, I'm not surprised to see good clubs in for Al. Apparently his contract runs till July this year so an end-of-season loan means whoever gets him will be front-runners to signing him in the summer. I think Millwall would be perfect for Al. Not too far away from home and a good man to look after him. Ideal.
a loan move will definitly do him some good he might come back a much improved player or earn him a move away to some first team football which would be great for him hope one of those 3 does actually come in for him
Not a great loss. Avinel , Sadler ,Eustace and co need removal surely too. Wages freed might bring in a player on a free . No news of Cuprisin as yet ?
Good move, during the tribunal it was suggested he was paying more than 30% tax so he must be on a fairly high wage. I would still like to think he will be given another chance at some point though - he looked to be back on form against West Ham but hasn't played since then. (others have wasted more chances than him imo)
A loan move would be perfect for him, and I reckon both he and we would really benefit from it!!! IMO he would either come back and claim a regular starting slot or enhance his reputation enough to make him a very saleable asset!!!
