I would say definately worth a shout as he has been good in his time and a good few years left but has he not got a dodgy knees or something and is meant to be a bit of a playboy on big wages?

He may be playing in the African nations tornament though. I very much doubht he is in the squad but you never know, and would take away the option of signing him for now.
