This caught my eye at the bottom of that article,

I know he's an ex-scummer, but then so was Matty Spring, and I quite liked him.

Personally, he sounds very much like a Burnley signing. We've probably lazily been linked as we are a standard, local side near the bottom of the table.

Still, he'd better have absolutely top-notch ball control for that kinda money. I'd also hope he'd be very comfortable playing with his back to goal, and when needed can get plenty of shots away from inside tight positions.
