Is there any tougher game in football on which to choose a side? The very definition of hoping they both lose. And it's live on the telly. I'm undecided whether to watch it or not. The best I can hope for is a couple of ACL and hamstring tears with perhaps a few red cards and a punch up between the managers. But on the other hand I'm worried that I might marginally favour Leeds to heap lovely misery on the despicable arse. And then I'd feel grubby for days afterwards.
Im certainly behind the yorkshires. Would be hilarious if Arteta flops massively. Leeds cup run could also derail their promotion push. Win win.
Lacazette gets NO card on VAR review for doing the same and maybe even worse than what Pereyra did. Football.Is.Dead.
Really don't see the difference between what Pererya did and got sent off for and what Lacazette just got away with there.
Get out. Lacazettes was worse. Its a bigger problem with inconsistent VAR calls than it is with VAR in half the fa cup and not in the other half. What it should do is help any appeal against Pereryas red.
Nope, don’t see it. Preferred Henry and Bergkamp to Klinsmann and Sheringham. And I still haven’t got over the 87 semi-final.
Keown, Adams, Vieira, AFTV, Torreira. I hate Luton more than Sardines but I dont have a soft spot for Sardines just because I dont hate them as much as Luton.
No, no soft spot - just don’t hate them. But I do dislike Spurs. Perhaps it’s also that - in my dotage - I recall us always doing quite well against Arsenal in the GT years. Stats would probably prove me wrong, mind.
Classic game of 2 halves. Arsenal got a stern talking to at HT and woke up. Or Leeds were just knackered? And Arsenal got away with a lot after the break.
No they wouldn’t. I remember working out that, of all the teams that were in the First Division for the 6 years we were there (82-88), our best record was against ‘The’ Arsenal. We even did the double over them the year we were relegated.
