I am sick of watching us put a good move together, get to the edge of the opponents area, then pass backwards/sideways or dink a useless ball over the top hoping our opponents are as hopeless as were appear to be. How many times were messrs Mahon/Francis in a good shooting position and either lost the ball by dithering around or passed the ball, thus wasting a good opportunity. Same goes for Hoskins - he had a few good shooting opportunities, namely the one where he tried to flick it to Kabba, where is the sense in that? Are we afraid to shoot?
Because no-one in our team can shoot? Oh how we could long for a Richard Johnson,Tommy Mooney or a fit Marlon King. Not afraid to shoot from distance!
Player gets ball infront of goal, thinks "i might mess this up, i'll pass it, i dont want the blame" and does so. the player he passes to thinks same, and so on.... WOMAN!
where we are in the league and time of year it is i think we should play every game like a cup game, attacking exciting and worth the money to come and watch. we may be on the wrong end of an arse kicking once in a while but we may beat mid table teams.
he has pace and strenght and that header against man utd wow what a goal lets see if he can score in the right net next time
