Anyone seen a car for sale under £700 around watford?

Trying to find a car for sale, everyone knows someone who is selling a car. It needs to be an escort or escort sized car that isnt crap and actually runs ok!

 

Run round all the local main dealers. They often have part exchanges that they don't sell directly but ship off to local independent dealers who service and flog on. If you don't mind taking a risk you can often get motors for a pittance as it's easier for them to get rid directly.

 

Look in the local paper

 

I know at least two motors for sale for under £700

Try http://www.autotrader.co.uk/. They list 320 cars under £1k within 10 miles of Watford.

 

Just make sure with any car you look at, there's no rust under the sills, under the arches, inside the petrol car, that the engine isn't warm to touch when you arrive to view it and as much service history as possible.

Theres no more unreputable car dealerships around anymore. The type where you can turn up with a grand and walk away with a semi decent car, NQA!
