the railway hotel has been closed for many years - that was my local. the beehive i think is a thai restaurant.. maison arms still there last time i looked.
I'd left by the 60s. Buckingham Road (or more accuratley the triangle where Buckingham Rod and Merlin Cresc met) was wgere we played football every night after school, even "under floodlights" some nights taking advantage of the lamp post to play long after dark.
Yes but the images of the area are dated plus some of my questions relate to Chandos Rec and streetview doesn't show that and Google Earth etc just doesn't have enough detail.
