I went to their concert at wembely arena last night was so good they are so good

Bit harsh, people have different tastes etc, and i wouldn't really compare an Emo to a L*t*n fan

 

They cut their Wristes when their upset, which is all the time, but the thing is they aint upset, they just want simpothy

 

Simple answer then.... Don't give them sympathy. How do you know they are not upset or depressed?

Bit harsh, although they do irritate me some what with their generic style and the way the majority think it's clever to act like a idiot in public. ie. a while ago a group of emos found it hilarious that two of their mates were "wrestling" in the town centre. I mean surely you've got something better to do rather than roll around on the floor outside primark !!

Yes some emos are scum but you can't generalise like that.


As for MCR i generally dislike everything about them, their songs are often depressing not to mention disjointed. The lead guy irritates me with the way his facial expressions are always so OTT and the rest of the band look like something from a freak show. The drummer seriously needs to get rid of that god awful emo fringe.

As you may have gathered i dislike them immensely.

 

If your an emo and have not cut yourself then your just not an emo.

Concept albums are a disgrace to music. Apart from Sargeant Pepper name one that stands up to scrutiny? And if you say Quadrophenia I challenge yo to a dual, overblown ****-rock that does nothing to reflect the subtle soul leanings of original mods!

MCR are possibly the worst band in my lifetime. What NME sees in them I dont know, but it never fails to make me laugh how that mag creates a 'scene' so easily! dont kid yourselves, 'Emo' type bands have always been out there, they just never used to have lead singers who thought they could sing!!!!

 

emos do annoy me, MCR played brighton centre last week and the town centre was full of them...i've never seen so many BOYS wearing eyeliner and makeup...i asked my mate who works in Boots how many teenage boys they get buying this stuff...the answer was not many....which leads me to the conclusion that all these boys are stealing thier mums eyeliner!!

If i had ever gone out of the house looking like them i would quite frankly be too ashamed to come back! My dad would have dis-owned me lol!

the mars volta have 2 brilliant concept albums! as do pink floydd! i agree most concept albums are pants, but when done right its just great!

 

and yoshimi battles the pink robots by the flaming lips!

 

Is that flaming lips one the one where you play two CDs at the same time to produce the overall effect? If so I agree its class! They do tend to be a bit pompous and overblown though! Tommy by The WHo is a prime example! Rock Opera, i ask you....:dismay: :dismay:
