anyone know anything about microphones?

just got some recording equipment and have setup a mini studio thing in my room but what im really missing is a decent microphone that has an xlr plug in to go straight into my audio interface thing ive got a line6 ux1 if that makes a difference

does anyone have any suggestions? would be for vocal stuff mostly acoustic hence the need for a decent sound

also anyone know what differences is being a condenser microphone makes this seems to be tagged on to some of the microphones im looking at and dont know if it makes a difference

I think this is more your type of thing.

 

Condensers are generally used for vocal recording.

Shure or Beyerdynamic are pretty good makes.
