The man has been superb, getting up and down the wing, defending, going forward. He has energy to burn and never looks tired. His take down and run in the last seconds was brilliant. He has improved so much and today was immense.I know he can be frustrating sometimes by not delivering a ball early but he is one of my fav players here.
I hope he is signed up for a perm deal,he deserves it.

Anya was my MOTM no doubt. The energy he put it was unhuman.

Agreed, he worked his socks off today as always. Althoug I do feel that he could have been a little braver in taking on Schlupp who I think is poor defensively. But regardless of that I though he was great today and long may it continue.

He's been a cracking player recently, tore Schlupp a new ar$ehole and puts in a decent shift. Needs to work on his final ball but still a quality player.

He'll have a field day at Wembley on that big pitch. Wayne Bridge won't be looking forward to it, nor will Dean Moxey.

I don't want to be the misery guts, because Anya was vital to our success today, but he does frustrate so often. Once, for example, he was on the edge of their box, to the right, having beaten his man and just hesitated. He was in a perfect position to run into the space in front of him, possibly force a great shooting or squaring chance or draw a foul.

He needs to have more courage when the opportunity presents itself and he needs improve his crossing. He's still done a lot, so I'm not slating him, I'm just saying there is a great deal of room for improvement.

Agree, he was brill, great control for third goal. Always puts in 100%, but maybe lacks a wee bit of confidence.

Also Hogg, for the third goal, sprinted like a young gazelle, overtaking Deeney to get on the end of Fessi's cross. Deeney, wanders up like he's going for a stroll in the park, ball comes back to him, and he lashes it in, and gets most of the credit. But well done Hogg.

Agree with this. He is definately our most improved player from the start of the season where he looked as though he won a competition to play for us. He has been fantastic recently but he can still improve. Will be a good squad player if we go up and a good Casetti alternative if we stay down.

He was helped in these 2 games by playing against the worst defensively skilled left back in the Champ (****o apart).

I echo the above posts. He has improved loads under Zola as the season has gone on. He was unplayable at Birmingham and he has been electric in a lot of other games too. He does drift in and out of games, but most wingers do. He gives us a wide outlet which we don't have if he's not in the side. His decision making and final execution is getting better all the time.

Agree, scary to think how good he could become if he takes on these improvements.

Does success make you talk sense Moog?

Great today but we won so everyone is upbeat however his delivery from 2 or 3 great positions was very poor so needs to work on that.

Couple of great aspects that don't get mentioned often is he does track back really well and regularly out jumps taller players to win headers.

Spot on Mr Moog. He has an excellent base to work from though and the way he wins headers time and time again is amazing for a man of his limited stature. He's a bit frustrating though - many times today Abdi looked to release him and he just wasn't running past Schlupp so went ended up working the ball back inside.

I agree the way Anya controlled the ball, then his pass to FF.

We're not disputing that or taking anything away from him and his amazing contribution to today's legendary win, but he could do more. That's all we're saying. Greedy of us, I know.

Discovered last night whilst watching "Pointless" on TV that an "Anya" is a variety of potato; so his nickname has to "SPUD" from now on!!!

Totally agree that "SPUD" has been great of late, all he needs to do now is improve his finishing like FF has and we will have another fantastic player on our hands!!!

Not the best crosser of the ball you will ever see but pace and energy down the flank means he often ends up a key player for us.

He needs to work on his delivery but he is one of our biggest threats no wing back would enjoy playing against is pace and he suits our counter attacking football superbly, Although I would still like to Cassetti further up the pitch just look at his pass to Vydra on Sunday when he was in an advanced area.

It's true his decision making in the final third may not be the best, but if we keep faith in him I'm sure that area of his game will improve.
