Being able to get something a bit like yahoo pool where members can play against each other, have tournaments and make leagues etc. Don't know if it's a feasible suggestion but maybe something to look into? Cheers
We're only limited by the arcade software which is an addon to this Forums general software. Everything it offers is available so there's not a lot we can do to enhance it until the author does.
lol Just my opinion before anyone gets defensive or takes it the wrong way. I love the arcade and think its a great idea, but surely the main focus of the site was a message board? if many more games are added it will become more of a gaming site.
Maybe an idea to prune some of the less popular games, if this doesn't already happen? To be honest Jon as the Arcade isn't intrusive and to get to it you have to go via the boards I don't think it's too much of a distraction.
People in yahoo pool appear to make tournaments on a regualr basis and you have to enter by going to a website and entering a code or something. I never really understood how it works.
Yeah, i've never been quite able to grasp it either, all i know is the game itself is a good laugh and if those american fools can make up tournaments im sure we could grasp it eventually. Looks like it's not a possibility to get it on here though going by what sir admin has said, but it could be worth having a look at how to set up those tournaments in yahoo, run the league from here and play the games in yahoo?
Could be worth a shot although i'm distancing myself from the organising ;D lol, incidentally those that are always in the same room talking appear to be very sad individuals and very easy to wind up and draw a reaction from !
Lol have to agree there, seems to be a sort of yahoo community, many a spare hour between lectures is spent winding those poor fools up. I'd be willing to have a look and find out how to organise it all, but my internet access is limitted right now to when im in the lrc so i'd be a pretty irregular host.
