I agree with your post. When I was at Old Trafford last season, their scarves which are red, black and white if I can remember right, and they were selling like crazy.
Why are there Celtic and AZ Alkmaar scarfs on sale in the Arsenal shop? Maybe we should sell Arsenal ones and make more money.

Smithy, you're spot on, they are. My point is the poor variety in the club shop. Repeatedly fans are exhorted to "turn the Vic into a sea of yellow" and yet you can't even buy the sort of scarf Sir EJ made famous, yellow with red/black bars! Or a simple sticker of the club badge for yer kids' bike/van/bedroom door. i've said before our shop sells c**p ive been to a few championship and league 1 clubs this season and all of them have better shops what ever happen to things like mini kits

Some people will not buy a bright yellow scarf, a lot more would prefer a plain black one, hence why they sell those.
So we can buy a pink one, or a grey one but NOT one in the club colours? Bizarre. I'd also like to shame the dribbling old sods that come to matches wearing 15 -20 year old club merchandise like frayed Bukta jackets with egg stains on. Tight gits that then go on to moan that the club isn't buying players....
This is a good point. You cant buy any classic scarfs or hats etc. Everything has this trendy new 'Next' or 'Peacocks' look about em. Get the classic lines back in and they'll sell like Steak bakes from Greggs on a cold winters morning.
