I think the >50,000 name petition against the new design might have made them realise that they've been fleeced by a media/design agency and that the emperor's new badge isn't quite as good as they originally believed?

I can never believe it when i see owners of football clubs try to fob rubbish like this off on the supporters. Surely they must be somewhat intelligent people and should know that followers of the game wont accept wholesale changes.

 

I see they've modeled it on a man who is a hero to many of the Leeds neanderthal support:

 

Agreed. The only change would be to make the hart's Antlers less moose-like but I guess that's what you get when you stylise things to make them simpler.


The single biggest feck up our marketing department did was set-up a twitter account referring to it as a moose. A hasty explanation followed by a quiet withdrawal of the service in the end when they realised what a foll they had made of themselves.

 

Yep, our badge is brill and I love it. Like you say it stands out, simple, unique design, bold colours. Even though we're a tinpot club we are instantly recognisable by our badge.

 

I find myself in complete disagreement with this meister. I would like to very politely invite you to eff right off.
