I like Olly, he seems to still be in touch with the working man and realise stupidity when it is staring him in the face.
Brings some much needed comedy to the game, says it how it is. The good thing about all his little idiosyncratic rants, is the fact that it takes the limelight away from Blackpool's performances which I am sure is helping them this season.
I know he has the potential to be an England Manager ,but the suits with the stained ties haven't got the balls to appointment him .
He is a breath of fresh air. Takes some guts to be so outspoken about the governing body of the industry he works in. Maybe The Fergies of the football management world should be more vocal on the matter...
I think the only managers that say exactly what they think in football are Holloway, Mourinho and Warnock. Obviously the last two have a mixed following but I think that they're passion is admirable, they represent the fans when they speak.
Agree. If we're going to appoint an Englishman, I'd rather him. His heart will make us or break us, but his voicing of all of our opinions will be a much needed piece of common sense on the international stage. I am falling in love with Olly.
Agreed - he speaks his mind - sometimes he doesn't make sense but at least he's honest and passionate and stands by his opinions.
Good stuff and is exactly what everyone else is either thinking or saying.....except FIFA. So......surely things must change. Shouldnt they ? I think a boycott is required.
Good that a manager brings some sort of personality to his press interviews rather than the usual dull modern day PR stuff we usually hear.
Seconded! The bloke is a legend, who if you look at what he did at QPR & Blackpool and I'm sure had he had the backing at Plymouth he would have managed it there too, is a bloody good manager and awesome at press conferences!
