What a great way for Barca to sign off the season at Camp Nou. Another 4 goals from Messi in a 4-0 win, and a truly wonderful send off for Pep Guardiola.

He stood in the middle of the stadium, in front of 90,000 plus fans and made his goodbye speech. It was pure theatre and a great sporting moment.

The fans are being very emotional and we haven't left the stadium yet......it's party time. Just imagine if they had won something!!

I can't help thinking Messi and Deeney would be something really special.

Thats pretty cool. I hope Pep comes to the premiership after his deserved break and we can see how good of a manager he really is. Perhaps the heir to Fergies throne? Or thinking about it he could really join any of the big 4-5

Pep will probably get offers from many clubs. But I doubt he'll take them. There are other things outside of football.

He could return to working with the Juvenil sides or could be made a director of the club.

Messi is an incredible player, probably the best I've seen so far in my lifetime (I'm 21), but it almost p*sses me off now how many he scores in that league. I don't buy this whole "but could he do it on a cold, wet night in Stoke?" b*llocks, but I don't think he'd be scoring anywhere near as many if he were playing in the Premier League, even if it were in a team like Man City. Some of the defences in La Liga are ridiculously poor.

Because of the ridiculous gulf in finances. In the premier league, the league negotiates a TV deal on behalf of all 20 teams, for all 20 teams. In Spain, each team negotiates their deal as far as I am aware, meaning Barca and R.Madrid get far, far more than any other team, every season, meaning the gulf between those two and the other 18 teams is ridiculously huge. The gap between 2nd and 3rd (Barca and Valencia) last time I checked, was 25 points. Absurd. I would personally not want to support any other team in the league because there is just no point. You will never achieve anything unless you get lucky like Malaga and get a tycoon come along.

Which is why Barca absolutely strolled over Man United? As did Bilbao?

They weren't even trying and simply strolled around United like they weren't there, and they have the second tightest defence in the EPL.

When are people going to stop this ridiculous "Messi wouldn't do that in the EPL" ****e.

It's not like he's just scored 70 goals in the Azerbaijan 9th division ffs.

You have to see him live to really appreciate how good the guy is. Basically he is the perfect football machine. He creates and scores from 90% of chances. His choice selection is phenomenal, when is comes to shooting or passing. He always chooses the right option. He sees things that others don't see, as if he is watching from the stands.

He is the best player I've ever seen play the game.

You've mentioned you're a season ticket holder at Barca, HB1, how much is a season ticket there?

    Pish posh.

You call yourself a Watford supporter, but you've clearly never seen Sietes play.

I have no doubt that Messi would be the best player and the highest scorer in England if he played over here, but I refuse to believe he'd be frequently banging in 3/4 a game the way he does in Spain.

Like I said before, he's a truly incredible player, but the majority of defences in La Liga are absolutely abysmal apart from a few of the top sides, and he's playing for a club where everything is absolutely perfectly set up for him, the style of play at Barcelona and the other world class players around him couldn't be any better suited to what he needs.

If he were playing for Man City or Man Utd over here he'd still be incredible and tearing teams apart, but I don't think he'd score as many.

It ranges mate depending where you sit, but I think I paid just over 600 euros last season.

Sweet. Pretty good value considering they're pretty much the best team in the world.
