Only if we sell him to Stevenage.
You know the mood is getting desperate if people are trying to convince themselves that Gray is the answer to our striking issues.
30 seconds of watching him try to control a ball, run with it Or shoot will put paid to that nostalgia
Gary Lineker would have been extremely disappointed with 10 goals in a season.
I would like to see him get a proper run, esp away from home where there's more space to run into (and his poor close control is less of an issue !).
At least Gracia has finally woken up to the fact that he's more a more effective striker now than Deeney.
Now he just needs to give the captaincy to someone worthy of it.
I've seen your Deeney bashing on Twitter as well. Is there a minute of the day where you aren't thinking about him?
Anyone of note is injured. Looks like it'll be Capoue as it stands.
I just don't think I understand.
He's only gone and scored again at Brentford today mind you apparently their keeper passed the ball straight to him and he has also missed a complete sitter.
What part of 'better than Zidane' don't you get?
I'm not on Twitter.
Has someone been stealing my schtick?!?!
200/1 to be too premier league top goalscorer.
Unfortunately I think 500/1 would be more realistic
I'm going to make it my personal business to champion the cause of Andre Gray.
I will be his online cheerleader. His confidence booster. His ego massager.
GO GO ANDRE, GO GO GO GO!!!
20 goals this season. Minimum.
Me andy boy will do this. We're on it. We've got this people.
According to The Herald Scotland Steven Gerrard is interested in sighting Andre Gray for his Rangers team
Haha hilarious. Rangers as a club aren’t even worth his value as a player.
As long as they only sight him, I'm ok with this. I'll get annoyed if they sign him though.
Definitely would like to bring in another striker, but Gray still has a part to play for us. Unless it's an absolutely mental offer and Gray really wants to leave for whatever reason, I don't want him sold at all
Gray as an impact sub, starting no more than 3 or 4 league games, but having a run in League and FA cup is a good use of him.
Starting too many games and playing too many minutes is a recipe for disappointment and frustration
I think our best outcome is that he scores again this year and we can sell him to one of the promoted sides for about what we paid for him. I think he's serviceable, but not good enough for where we need to be. At our financial level, you either need to be a high-level contributor or an up-and-coming talent. He's neither. He's too expensive for us in that capacity.
We don't have a better replacement in the Pozzo empire and we aren't going to splash the cash to buy one so I'd be amazed if he's not with us next season. We will never have the perfect premier league striker.
