Forgive me as I've never played "Football Manager", but isn't player turnover (get in cheap, develop, showcase and sell expensive) the essential part of sustainable club management?
AA is likely to leave over the Summer, he has been a great servant but he may struggle to make the 25 next season if we bring in several new recruits as expected. Therefore it might be better for him to move on, maybe Granada could use him?
hey come on, spring scored a cracking goal that one time.....just a shame it was against us for our mortal enemies
Indeed, it wonderfully displays the downward spiral the club has been on due to awful mismanagement and 'big club' mentality. Still, it wasn't the fans money, so it shouldn't bother them.
Fair play to the previous owner writing off all debt, they are now debt free.. Dean Holdsworth's consortium has got a great deal buying a debt free club for so little, I used to work in Bolton so know the amount of land the club owns around the ground. For the money paid that is a superb deal for the new consortium.
The consortium paid £7.5m to buy Bolton and had to repay nearly £3m to the taxman so hardly debt free. Plus while they've been in administration Trevor Birch has been busy flogging everything, including a training ground and apparently land around their stadium. How much is left? Most of the Davies debt was an artifical construct anyway. He never intended to enforce it.
Almen Abdi has tweeted a picture of him in his team when he was a child The coach looks a bit fearsome though.
Abdi is eligible for the newly approved Kosovo team, wonder whether he'd consider switching bearing in mind he hasn't been anywhere near the Swiss team for some years now... Edit: didn't see the thread about this. Ignore me!
Dryworld 'Cup' So, I see you losers might actually be able to get yourself a bit of silverware on Saturday? About time ha ha ha. Try not to bottle is this time, yeah? Thanks for Almen Abdi - I bet he can't wait to leave your shambles of a club!
Hang on, a supporter of Sheffield Wednesday, last seen taking our cast offs, a team that's been out of the Premier League for what - 15 years? - been relegated more recently than us, is trying to give it the big'un? That's amazing.
