So is the Torch pub A and will it be full of *****. I have heard pub I is first class so is most agreeable
As I mentioned in a previous post - many years ago (20+) on Cup Final day The Torch was nicked and convicted of watering the beer. But, relax I'm told that with today's kegs that can't be done.
They are mostly those little converted pubs from one shop front, never gona fit 35000 horns in them, all the bigger and better pubs are in Wembley High Street and the Green Man on the hill near the stadium have been allocated to Palace apparently :boo::boo::boo:
The Green Man has been given to Palace? Shame, it's big and where I was going to meet the family. Oh well, will be fine anyway.
We have everything around Wembley Park and down through Wembley Park Drive/Empire Way. I think we'll pack out all of that on the roads for a good drink and sing-song and there's also plenty of off-licenses as well. The daytrippers will be too busy buying their jester hats anyway...
Open to both but strict segregation will be in place to prevent pieces of relish being used as missiles.
Balls to that - drink in Watford then head straight to the stadium via the Met line. Hopefully West Herts will be open -
