Believe me sir when you mix anything with champagne the taste is irrelevant and the only thing you appreciate is quickly becoming drunk.

I like Strongbow, but prefer becks etc.

Magners and other ciders are easy to drink, and i really like them.

Im definately not an alacholic, but when there is alcahol around, i do always seem to get pished. This is not on a regular basis however.

Pint of Speckled Hen never goes a miss. No tramp juice for me but lager is sufficiant.

Not a patch on what it used to be now that theEvil Greene King bought up Moorland and moved the brewing into it's own site.

I'm off to Yorkshire this weekend to visit 3 breweries. I shall report back my findings.

I like Speckled Hen, I like the odd Ale and the local stuff they do up here by Purple Moose brewery is good. Though not many pubs sell it at the moment, and I doubt anyone living outside Wales would have heard of it.
I have to admit to liking strongbow and black (and the odd snakebite and black). Strongbow is nicer than Blackthorn imo, but Brothers Strawberry cider is the winner – so refreshing (if a little a sweet)!

    Cider is wrong!

Not heard of purple Moose. I'll have to get my Cardif living mate to search some out for me.

I wouldn't like to take the test, i don't drink a lot so would be pointless anyway.

I went to AA some years ago and I have to say that they are the biggest bunch of ******s I have ever met in my life.

I wanted to meet people with the same problem as me. I expected them to talk about the reasons why they find it hard to not drink etc. Instead, all they wanted to talk about was how great they all were, how AA is like their church and how much they worship each other.

They're nothing but a bunch of absolute crapheads. I went straight from my second meeting to the pub and haven't ever looked back.

Like those who used to go to 'alcohol rehabiltation' in King's Street.

As soon as a session finished, the majority of the group walked over the road and straight into the Robert Peel.

i have just come from plymouth and their cidar is rather nice, despite not being a cider drinker and never touching strongbow etc

would i say iam a alcholic...no, i have never drank alone, i have only a couple of times been too drunk where it goes past the fun stage and is just shocking

    but iam an angle:angel3:

is alcohol meant to keep the peons in their place, or is it the AA itself. got to stay productive! damn society

this was a serious point. everywhere we look people are conditioned to be productive at the expense of everything else. why else would shows like hollyoaks make light drugs comparable to full on crack addiction?

Because they are scare monger tw*ts who know nothing about modern socirty and cultures.

'Just one puff on a cannibis joint could make you skitzo' blah blah blah f*ck off.

  28. Echo

yeah but if on that first puff you could get addicted and cannabis can damage your brain and lead to schizophrenia, and other mental health illnessses, same with alcoholics - it is the first drink that does the damage as once you have had that you continue to drink, so once you start you may not be able to stop.

I can provide you with links to websites that show the research that has been done on this area if you want which clearly links cannabis to mental health illnesses.

    Please :)
Its just you get offered all that sorta stuff at parties, festivals etc. and its been quite tempting... Scaremongers do tend to use the "schizo/brain diseases" argument, but its not all that convincing unless backed up.

and Chewitt, you havent replied, i asked you what drinks you are into? :)
