    Dangerous play is an indirect free kick, a reckless challenge does not exist in the laws of the game, red cards are given for serious foul play or violent conduct, Ake would have been sent off for serious foul play, violent conduct is striking an opponent

    If it were deemed deliberate then it would be violent conduct

    No it isn't, it is still serious foul play. Punching or headbutting an opponent is violent condition, if you don't agree contact the FA

    wd40 say the club have now decided not to appeal. He will miss the games against City, Newcastle (FA Cup) and Southampton

    Without reading the referees report i have no idea what he was charged with, don't believe what the press report most haven't a clue on the laws of the game
