Does anyone have a comprehensive list of ins and outs since Aidy took charge?

My overall impression of his dealings are that they have been dire, with one or two exceptions. Not taking anything away from his acheivments the season before last, but he has signed a hell of a lot of krapp hasn't he? Cavalli being the most recent of his unequivocal failiures.

    Someone did this already.

However, I can't see how his transfers have been dire!

Without Hendo and King a couple of years ago would we have gone from relegation faves to being in the Prem?

    Very fickle...

Bad decisions are part and parcel of the game, but the overall outlook this the 'good' he has brought in has more than made up for the rot (E.G. That bloke from Cheltenham, Sietes ETC)

You're right David. I think I overstated it, but there are a disproportionate amount of clangers in there.

I think Aidy works by the law of averages.

The more players he trials, the more likely he is likely to find a gem.

    Its certainly worked so far.

I think on the whole. He has signed alot of decent players.

And the ones who have been poor he has got rid of them.

    Stewart believe it or not
    Smith

    Mackay

there will obviously be more in time I'm sure Rinaldi, Hoskins, Priskin, Avinel, McAnuff, Ellington could still be success.

And you can kind of consider then likes of Ashley Young as a signing in a way because under RL they didnt blossom or get given a chance over the likes of oldies like Dyer, Ardley.

Obviously a few failures in Griffiths, Sietes, Devaney, Cavalli(he was unfit/fat)

If he signed a poor player he has got them on shorts deals or got rid of them quickly.

The reason sistes never played for the first team was because of his attitude towards the other players

I think critically all the crap signings he has made, and there's no escpaing he has made quite a lot, have not cost any/much money, and have been got shot of at the earliest opportunity.

    Good signings
    King - 500k
    Shittu - maybe 2mil
    Stewart - 125k
    McAnuff - 2mil
Mackay - free (taking into account the coaching side as well)
    Henderson - 450k
    Spring - 100k
    Williamson 400k tops
    Williams - 500k
Francis - 1.5mil (lazy but scored from midfield and we need that)
    Smith - 1mil?
    Ellington? 4mil maybe

So that's a total of about 12.5 million against what say the 50-60mil his time as manager will have brought to the club (prem/transfers/parachute payment). I'd say he's doing alright ;)
