    Hi everyone,

I hope you’re not too bleary eyed this morning after another late night at the Vic. Sadly, we couldn’t quite finish the job in hand in the end, but there were plenty of encouraging things to take from the game.
The first is that we started much more like the Watford sides you and I have come to know over the years, scoring a good goal through our secret weapon, John-Joe!
We also went on to control the game before the sending off of Tamas really changed the whole complexion of the night.
That was a shame because at 2-0 up and with eleven men I felt we would really go on and see out the win, but these things happen in football and you have to learn from them.
Tamas himself is a young player and he will have learned a lot from last night. I haven’t spoken to him yet, but will do so and will deal with it internally, as we always do. Suffice to say though I am very annoyed about the situation, given the lead we had.
He’ll miss three games now, which is a real shame as he’d just started to find his feet again.
Still, we were also able to welcome Grzegorz Rasiak back in to the side and once he gets his sharpness back we’ll have another real threat up front to go alongside Will Hoskins.
Wolves lost heavily last night so they’ll be the proverbial ‘wounded animal’ as they come to us at the weekend, and we’ll have to watch for that.
But their defeat last night again proves how competitive this league is – anybody really can beat anybody else, and it’s that fact that gives everyone hope in every game.

Still on last night I must make mention of Richard Lee, who just keeps on astounding everyone, me included.

If he keeps on going like that he’ll do himself no harm at all and the one thing that can always be said about Richard is that when he gets his chance, he always proves he deserves it.

I’ll look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

    Come on!
