just arrived for those that don't get it.

Games are coming thick and fast!

    Hi everyone,
We find ourselves in the middle of another international break this week and I find the memories of this league coming flooding back to me. It seems to be either all or nothing. One minute we’ve got Saturday and midweek games stacking up on top of each other, the next, the training ground is depleted with the lads away with their respective countries.
For me though, that is a testament to the quality of players we have here and this time round, as well as all the usual suspects, we have young John Joe O’Toole receiving his first international call up for the Republic of Ireland’s U21’s.
He’s having a fantastic couple of months after a run in the first team and now this – it’s a great reward and he knows that he’s got to keep it up now. He’s raised the bar and like everyone else, it has to be maintained.
I thought it was a promising performance from the team on Saturday against Colchester. The result wasn’t what I would have liked and I thought we did more than enough to take all three points, but in terms of the football that was played, I think it proves that we are improving all the time and heading in the right direction.
Our movement and our build up play was some of the best I’ve seen from us so far this season, but sadly our finishing wasn’t as clinical as I would have liked. I said after the game that we had created enough chances to have won seven games let alone one, and you can rest assured that we will be looking to take that same style of play into our game against Barnsley next week, but with a few more goals to talk about.
So now it’s back to the grind of five games in two weeks, and just as we have to be more motivated than ever, you need to be behind us even more than you have been through the start of this season. We are in a tremendous position at this stage and we are only seeking to improve. This next batch of games will be vital to our season, so we need your support more than ever.
    Come on!

    I like having 5 games in 2 weeks :)

Is Jay likely to be back for any of them? The defence is my only concern at the moment and it's annoying that Aidy seems to have glossed-over their poor performance against Colchester.

Well he actually said it was the best football we've played this season, so he's not avoided the game, his opinon differs entirely to yours!

I wasn't there Saturday, but what i've heard from one or two of the South Coast lads, it was a decent performance and a good game, we just couldn't take our chances!

I'd be more worried if we weren't making the chances!

IMO it's time to see more of Ellington!
