This is what we're here for! Hi everyone, I’m sure I don't need to tell you how huge this next week is going to be for us. I’ve described it as the mother of all weeks, and isn’t that just the truth. Two games in five days against our biggest competitors. This is what we’re here for. All of the hard work, the pre-season planning, the training, the meetings, the debriefs, the blood, sweat and tears – it’s all for these next few weeks. We’ve been allocated 1,300 tickets for the trip to Ashton Gate and having just checked with the ticket office, I can tell you that there are only a couple of hundred left. I don't want to see an empty seat over in the away end, because now is the time that we need you more than ever. I cannot stress enough the importance of a strong, vociferous crowd. I thought the drummer was excellent on Tuesday night against Norwich City and he really rallied the whole of the Rookery. That’s the spirit that we want home and away, because that is what will carry us through these difficult games. I’ve said it a lot recently, but you feed us, and we’ll feed you. These next two games are as huge as they come. Many expected Bristol City to have fallen away at this stage of the season, yet they look as strong as ever. We will need to be stronger and that’s where we need you. We will need the full package on Tuesday night and that means leaving nothing to chance. If your support gives us the lift that we need to make those tackles, make those saves, score those goals, then you can understand why we need you. The energy here at the moment is electric, the lads can see the points racking up on the board and we know that the end is in sight. We know where we need to be come May and I hope you will be there with us all the way. These are the times when it is great to be a football fan. In and around the top with something to play for, something that is within touching distance. It is almost ours. I’ve taken to going into the stand to speak with the fans prior to the games recently and it’s been great to get in amongst you all. It’s always nice to speak face to face without any middle men in the way. Thanks once again for your great support. Come on!
Only 1300 Tickets !!?. Thats a bit tight !!. We`d better hurry up and get ours. Thought we could pay on the night and that we`d take near 2000. Unfair advantage me thinks.
Not a chance. As far as I know it's not the Easter Hols and it's a bit of a trek on a tuesday night for working class, etc. 1800 max.
I'd love to come along being in Cardiff n all... if i could only convince my non-Hornets mates to come along to a midweek night match. If it were a saturday I think I'd be in business :-[
