That is according to a couple of todays papers? They differ on how much we have to spend, one says 3 and the other says 4 million? So I would say that between one and three of those players will be on loan? IMHO we need at least two or even three of them to be strikers, a creative MF player and a defender. It looks like one of them is going to be that striker we have on trial from that Greek club, so that leaves four more. I would take a gamble on one of the young hotshot strikers from the lower divsions, suggestions please, and hope that they can make the step up. We should also try and buy Edwards from Luton, as he can play on the wing or at RB. And finally two experienced proven premiership class players on loan. Again suggetions please?
I think we will get 2 players, 3 if we are lucky. If 2 players, we need a creative midfielder and a center foward, if 3 we should try to get a defender aswell.
Style? STYLE? We have NO style. Now is the time to panic buy. Absolutely no point in buying for next year, we need to buy for the next game No-one expensive will want to come to us so we ought to bring a few.
Agreed. But nor do I want to see a repeat of last time we were in the Premiership. As I said, no-one very expensive will want to come so there should be no danger of a repeat of Italian job.
