Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has ruled out signing Marek Saganowski. Saganowski has been unable to establish himself at Troyes this season and had hoped to impress in a bid to win a switch to Vicarage Road. The 28-year-old spent three days training with The Hornets and featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday. However, Boothroyd has opted not to pursue Saganowski's signature, with the Polish international returning to Troyes. "We will not be taking him," Boothroyd confirmed to the Watford Observer. "At this time of year you get a lot of phone calls from agents and I got a call from a respected agent who told me he had a player he thought I might be interested in. "I had a look at him and he wasn't at the level I'm after and he's on his way back."
According to the WO the Polish bloke wasn't even greeted at the airport or given a hotel room at first by anyone at our club which probably didn't impress him!
