was at fault for 2 of Luton's goals tonight as they slipped nearer League One with an injury time (plus) defeat against Norwich.

Nice effort Matt to give us Orns something to cheer about.

    :]] :dismay:

i thought they were going to nick it 2.1 at one point! Leeds lost again as well (which still puts 21st May in perspective)

Even after they seemed to have sorted out their scoring problems after the departures of Howard, Vine and Edwards they still can't win....;D

Is it just 3 wins in 22 for them now?

Looks like it could be them, QPR and Southend for the drop...

Feel really sorry for Springy. Imagine having to put up with Mikey's team talks not to mention playing at that toilet of a ground. Agree with KJ77 his goal at Palace was a beaut.

Why did we let Bryn go, thought he was outstanding last night.

I was thinking exactly the same last night. Still can't for the life of me think why Aidy let him go. Exactly the type of player we've been missing with, hard working and not too shabby on the ball. Only reasoning i can see behind letting him go was that Aidy felt he was too similar to Mahon or couldn't play them both at the same time. Last season Springy meant we didn't miss him, but Boris's performances this season in the Prem for Reading have proved our mistake.

But then without the money from the Gunnarsson sale we wouldn't have been able to shell out £800,000 on the likes of Hendo, Spring, Stewart and Carlisle to enable us to get promoted, so I don't see how it was a mistake...

If i recall correctly, we only got somewhere in the region of £50,000 for Bryn...daylight robbery going by last night, but it didn't fund the other players we got in...

The fee for Gunnarson was never disclosed at Reading's behest.
