Basically.... I kept Watford up at the first time of asking, but it was close!! Went down to the last two games of the season where I ended a run of 9 games without a win to beat Arsenal 3-2 at home and then come back from 1-0 down to beat Bolton 1-2 away on the last day of the season. I had previously signed a contract extension where the board offered me a choice of budgets. I opted for one with a £4million transfer budget. does this mean that is my budget for next season or an addition to my previous budget? ie will the board announce a transfer budget for the coming season because £4mill seems a bit small. I'd like to know that before I start scouting players for the coming season so I can buy wisely! Thanks for any help
What's your overall balance? You could try asking for more? Best thing I find is to spend what they give and ask for more in Jan. Especially works if you're on track to achieve the target. Your wage budget shoulda gone up as well I'm guessing?
Actually I had to take a slight wage budget reduction to get the £4mill. I asked for more money in Jan last year and got £3mil. Spent it on Onouha, a decent right back, and saved a bit. I lost a lot of money on Guardada or whatever his name is, spent over £2mill on him then he buggered off to Porto on a free (he would only sign a one year contract in the first place!) Think i'll ask for more this January as I need to sign an experienced 30-goal hitman ideally. Any ideas how to sign Lbohang Mokoena? I've tried loads of times but his permit always gets truned down! Ironically, Damien Francis has been AWESOME for me so far!
there is its called loaning in better players from aresnal and puttin him on the bench where he belongs :]]
Agree with you there mate, i remember the days i used to play on it all night then have to get up for work the next day.
