This is StuBoy, I don't know why this is happening - it happened yesterday afternoon too - but I can't log in. When I look at the users online though it says that StuBoy is logged in, but I can't be as I'm not! This is very strange, I try to log in again and it says; "Thank you for logging in StuBoy", but then when I get redirected to the forum menu I'm not logged in. Help!
you probably need to delete the cookies, do a search for wfcforums on you pc for all files and folders, it should find the cookies and then delete them it should stop it from happening.
Exactly as Faith said. There appears to be a sequence that causes this, though I've yet to find exactly what causes it. I've had similar issues when logging out as Admin and back in as a test user then back in as Admin again. If you look for a cookie then it'll appear as xxxx@wfcforums(1) or something similar.
I just searched for "wfcforums" using the Windows search option. I searched all files and folders and it came up with nothing. Not one file. So any ideas why that's the case? The only reason I can think of why there aren't any cookies is because I've set my PC to erase my History every night when I leave work, would this be deleting the cookies too? If that's the case then my sign in problem might be related to something else.
I had the same problem StuBoy. I couldn't find any cookies but 'deleted' them all anyway and it still didn't work. Switching the computer off worked though!
never happened to me thank god. every now and then delete history, cookies and temp internent files. it frees up some space.
has happened to me in the past , i just delete all temporary internet files and cookies .works everytime
Deleting your history doesnt normally delete the cookies also.. however its possible that your system has been set up to automaticall clean daily by your firm
