he wont move here unless we get promoted and even then its bloody unlikely boro will want to let him go
Don't know about the second statement, but definitely worth spending some money on. If we go up, can see him cutting it at the higher level.
he's already cutting it at u21 international level so i think he can definitely cut it in the premiership
I don't know why people find it so hard for people to understand he isn't for sale. He won't ever, ever, ever be a permanent Watford player. End of story.
Have to agree, its only a matter of time before he replaces the over rated Downing. Even if he was for sale, would we stump up the money for him. Young, English winger, you're looking at £6 million minimum.
Well to that good set piece taker and scores goals you're looking at - what was it... £9.65 mio? Johnson v. Ash - discuss?
What everyone seems to be forgetting is that there is a good chance we will be promoted and Boro could easily be going the other way? It would not be so ridiculous for him to want to stay with us then, would it!!!
Cant see it. Derby are doomed, and Bolton will follow them now they have virtually employed Smegson, and i'd go for Fulham as the other club for the drop.
Absolutely, Ash went for a ridiculous amount because he was our best player at the time. Johnson can't be that highly regarded or else he would not be with us for such a long loan period. Also, Southgate could well be sacked in the coming weeks if results don't improve, and you would not imagine that his replacement would be interested in a loan player.
Why wouldn't a replacement manager be interested in a player that is on loan from his own team , He may feel that Johnson is playing a better style of football and in-line with the way that he wants borough play.
